My Objective
On more than one occasion, I have met someone who will say “my father parachuted into Germany” or “my grandfather was killed in World War 1”. When I ask what unit they served with or where they are buried, the answer would usually be “I have no idea. He didn’t talk much about it. I wish that I knew more.”
